The Steele Rose Service normally includes:
A visit to your home to take your instructions and then a return visit with the LPA and associated documents for explanation, signing and witnessing, with a 7 day option to cancel your instructions without penalty.Legal advice and guidance concerning LPAs and the registration process.Preparation and witnessing of the original LPA.Acting as Certificate Provider.Preparation and submission of registration documents to the OPG*.Preparation and submission of up to 5 notifications to nominated individuals.Preparation and submission of fee exemption or remission applications to the OPG.An unlimited number of Attorneys. All communication with the OPG during the registration process.Provision of a legal document binder to protect your LPA after registration.
*OPG - Office of the Public Guardian
Our Consultant will visit Donor (at their home) to take instructions or to present LPA(s) and associated documents for explanation and signature.
Consultant may act as witness and/or certificate provider (Donor must have mental capacity)
Our Legal Consultant will telephone you back to arrange an appoinment for the first visit to the Donor and/or to take the instructions for LPA(s)
Steele Rose receive LPA documents from the Consultant, check them and prepare for despatch.
Steele Rose deal with all OPG correspondence.
Attorney(s) sign and date their page of the LPA(s).
(Attorney may not always be present when instructions are taken)
Up to 5 persons to be notified
or a second Certificate Provider appointed.
